Dealing with child behaviour problems
There are lots of possible reasons for difficult behaviour in children: frustration, boredom, tiredness and over excitement being only a few.
If your child’s behaviour is causing you or your child distress, it is important to deal with it by:
talking with your child to explain how you are feeling and let them know how pleased you are when they do things well.
remaining calm and moving on to something you can both enjoy and feel good about.
being consistent and reacting to their behaviour always in the same way to avoid confusion.
getting support from your partner, friends or other parents as it is good to have someone to talk to about what you are doing.
The best way to improve behaviour in your children is to give them a lot of attention when they are doing something you like and remove your attention when they are doing something you do not like.
FILL YOUR CHILDREN UP WITH PLENTY OF LOVE AND AFFECTION THROUGHOUT EACH DAY AND MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES.
